Mind and Body Day Retreat Details
The count down has finally begun.
It’s a couple of days and counting. I can’t believe how much we have put into this event. LOL. I can say that I am super excited about the value that people are going to get out of it. Here are some of the things that we will be doing:
What is an affirmation table? An affirmation is something that is a little hard to say to yourself. It’s the thing that you don’t quite believe but you should. For example, “I am worthy”. Self worth is something that a lot of people struggle with, and it’s something that people should practice on a daily basis. The second part of that should be self explanatory. A table is something where people can either sit or stand at and participate in an activity.
Our affirmation table is going to have face paints, but we aren’t going to be doing face painting. You totally can if you want to do that, but we are going to be incorporating the face paints into a creative activity. You are going to be putting the affirmation of your choice on your arm or on a part of your body. Your affirmation can be represented in a picture form. It can be a phrase. It can be anything that you need it to be.
Everybody pretty much knows what a selfie is. A selfie is a picture that you take of yourself. We have all kinds of fun props to take pictures with. You can get up there and create. Best of all, you can get extra raffle tickets for participating in the extras :-D.
Creation will continue. We are going to be creating what I like to call identity masks. People are going to be exploring their sense of self, and they will be able to delve a little deeper into that concept of self to uncover some of the mysteries lying there.
